Waterjet Cutting

AAbrasive water jet cutting is done with a high-pressure, high-speed jet of water and an abrasive cutter sand introduced into the jet of water in a mixing chamber located in front of the nozzle. Abrasive water jet cutting systems are widely applicable in many areas of the industry, including the metal industry. The machine has several advantages over thermal processes. One of the most important advantages is that the equipment can be flexibly and quickly switched from one material to another in a variety of material grades.

Additional benefits:

  • the material is not deformed the cut edges are not subject to any physico-chemical change
  • complex shapes can be cut in good quality
  • there is no hardening or cracking on the cut surface favorable
  • efficient material can be reach: cutting gap: ~ 1mm
  • no slag or melt is formed
  • it can be flexibly used in custom and small and medium series production
  • 2 D and 3D material separation can be achieved
  • The technology can cut most types of materials used in the industry: metals (steel, aluminum, copper, alloy steels, abrasion resistant steels (eg HARDOX, Creusabro, etc.), iron castings, etc.), plastics, composites, Teflon rubber, silicone, natural stones, marble, granite, glass etc.

Our Machine:

  • FLOW Mach 3 3020B Cutting range (table size): 2000 * 3000 mm
  • max. cutting material thickness: 160 mm
  • Accuracy: +/- 0.1 mm
  • Repeat accuracy: +/- 0.05 mm
  • Dynamic waterjet function,
  • angle correction system
  • Flexible surface quality - material quality
